This group of 5-7 women offers a safe, yet challenging, healing environment to explore each one's truth, conquer barriers to growth, and resolve long-standing personal issues. Experiential techniques such as journaling, guided imagery, art and music are frequently used to deepen and enhance the work of the group. Common concerns are: feelings of isolation, inadequacy, depression, striving for perfection and approval, conflicts around career and family, etc.

Everyone has a unique and precious gift to offer the world. It is the core purpose of our lives and is meant to be fully expressed and shared generously with others. The challenge is to clearly identify and honor that purpose, to have the courage to seek out and discover the gifts within. As we engage in this work of the soul, we are inevitably inspired and energized to live more fully and authentically. Join us for a week-end of transformative exploration, discovery and expression of your gifts. The retreat will use a creative mix of sharing and reflection, journaling and meditation, music, poetry and more. Gloria and dava provide a safe container to guide, support and inspire you on the next step of your life journey.

You are invited to simply bring the gift of you. Together we will create a community of wise and authentic women. We will share our heart's longings and help one another uncover that which is powerful and life-giving within each one of us.

Signal Knob is located just outside Strasburg, Va. in the Shenandoah Mountains, less than 1 1/2 hours from the DC area. Set on farmland with a view of the mountains, the Center has spacious meeting areas with a central stone fireplace, 10 comfortable bedrooms (2 beds/room), and a large country kitchen/dining area with some outdoor seating (www.carolinefurnace.org). Food contributions and preparation will be shared by the group.

 WomenCircles
... was created in 1995 by Gloria Mog, LCSW in collaboration with area therapists.  They shared a vision of women of all ages, stages and walks of life coming together in compassionate circles for personal growth, support and spiritual renewal.  Many workshops, week-end retreats, support groups, and outdoor adventures have created a wide circle of women committed to psychological and spiritual growth and to the importance of connectingin a deep and meaningful way.

About the Leaders . . Gloria J. Mog, LCSW
Gloria is a psychotherapist in private practice with over 40 years of experience in the mental health field.  She has extensive training in Gestalt, Psychodrama, couples, family and group therapy.  Special interests include women’s issues, self-esteem, and spiritual renewal.  Gloria is a Certified Psychodramatist and Imago Relationship Therapist as well as a trainer and supervisor for area therapists.

Dava Money, M.Ed.
Dava is a mindfulness practitioner, workshop presenter, retreat facilitator, trainer and author.  She is the developer of the Authenticity Series designed to accelerate the evolution of consciousness and bring peace and joy to one’s life.  Dava currently lives in Boulder, CO where she continues her work with individuals and groups, relationship dynamics and spirituality.
